Rest, Relax, & Rejuvenate with Restorative Yoga
When was the last time you turned on the quiet and truly relaxed? This is your opportunity!
This class is good for beginners as well as seasoned yogis. Treat yourself during the busy holiday season to a very soothing and nourishing self-care practice. We will use gentle Hatha yoga postures to restore the body and relax the mind. This practice will leave you feeling calm, well rested, clear headed and emotionally centered.
Yoga props, including pillows, blankets, bolsters and blocks are used to restore the body without physical discomfort, strain or injury. The body is fully supported, facilitating muscle relaxation, deep breathing, rest and release. This stress-reducing practice stimulates the body's relaxation response, helping you to feel balanced and rejuvenated. The mental chatter quiets for a time, allowing you to experience a deep sense of peace.
We will end our session with Yoga Nidra, which further promotes deep rest and profound relaxation.
