April 15, 2015

Synergy Institute is branching out in it's offerings and welcomes William Abrams, owner of Hiken Dojo, who is introducing Martial and Healing Arts to the Sebastian Community through Synergy Institute.

William has been on a martial arts quest since 1986, when he was first introduced to Japanese art of Ninjutsu. In his pursuit of the studies of Budo (the way) there were many twist and turns, including being introduced to Chinese Martial and Healing Arts. This was life altering and prorided tools for him to better understand the basic principles by which the martial arts and the world operates.

In the early 2000's, he was introduced to the Japanese Sword Art, Batto Do, in which cutting with the japanese Sword is emphasized. He was immediately was hooked and is still pursuing swordsmanship. He is also still training in Ninjutsu as well as Wu Tai Chi.

William will be teaching Tai Chi/Qigong  and the art of Batto Do here at Synergy Institute in the Lotus Room.
